Ice-tea is such a refreshing beverage on a hot day, and if you throw in a touch of gin you have a perfect summer cocktail. Try this delicious ice-tea cocktail:
Serves 4
Ingredients:
- 4 x Rooibos tea bags
- 50ml liquid honey
- 2 x fresh nectarines
- 2 x fresh oranges
- Gilbey’s orange-flavoured gin
Instructions:
- Add in 4 rooibos tea bags per 1 litre of water and bring to a boil in a pot.
- Allow time for the tea to steep so that the flavour is released.
- Take the pot off the boil and remove the tea bags.
- Stir in the honey until it is completely dissolved.
- Pour the tea into a jug and allow to cool.
- Cut the nectarines into cubes and add into the tea
- Peel the oranges, separate the segments and add them into the tea.
- Add one part Gilbey’s orange-flavoured gin to four parts of ice tea
- Add some ice cubes and serve.
